Treasurer: Jo Romero
Like most of us, Jo has been running for a long time! And she's been
Treasurer of the club for almost as long. As the money person, everyone is
"best friends" with Jo... Rumor has it she's a wiz at Texas Hold-Em (I've
personally witnessed it!). She says she's invested the club funds "well" and
we have the balance to prove it. Vegas anyone???

President: Michelle Esqueda
Michelle is full of boundless energy! She hit the ground running when she
joined the club, fillling in as Secretary on the Board. This year, she's
graduated to Prez.
We thought she just wanted to help out last year as Secretary, but in actual
fact she was just trying to pick up on the really good running tips. If she's
running behind you today, WATCH OUT, cuz you're wearing a target on
your back and she's about to pass you.. Go, Michelle!!!

Social Director: Helio "Where's the Wine" Castaneda
Helio is a lawyer by trade, which explains why he started running. Seems
when you tick people off, you better be fast, and I mean lightning fast... It
also requires you to be charming even when you don't feel like it - hence the
assignment to social director.

Uniform Chair: Angie Contreras
Angie is our "Adidas Girl". Loyal to a fault, you can count on her to talk you
into Adidas gear at the drop of a hat. Hey you corporate types - can we
parlay this into an equipment sponsorship??? When not wearing Adidas, it
has to be Dolce & Gabanna...

Secretary / Fun-Run Director: Tony Melchor
Tony has been running since he was a young pup in high school, and is fond of
regaling anyone who'll listen with how cold it was while running in his home
state of Wisconsin. In spite of the weather, he has many impressive PR's,
including 5K (14:28), 8K (25:11), 10K (31:39) and the marathon (2:39).
Tony has held many positions in the club, including two terms as President,
and several stints as Race Director and Social Chair.
Tony has been running since he was a young pup in high school, and is fond of

Member At Large: Ana Maria Gilman
Ana Maria is one of the most dedicated runners you'll ever meet. She
shows up no matter what, often running from her home up on a very BIG
hill... If you need encouragement, she's your gal! Ana Maria is a sweetheart
and we love her PERIOD. But when she shows up with homemade goodies
(a gourmet cook!), we absolutely adore her!!! Be sure to drop by on our
monthly Canopy Day and try her home-brewed cinnamon coffee - you'll be
hooked.
